DMV Wait Times publishes a continuously updated index of statistical wait estimates at United States Department of Motor Vehicle field offices. Estimates are derived from observed wait reports submitted by readers and from historical patterns at each office.
The publication’s data sources include:
- Anonymous on-site reports submitted by readers.
- Historical wait observations at the same office, day, and hour.
- Publicly listed agency operating hours and posted closures.
- Statistical estimates derived from the above.
The Service is offered to assist readers in planning visits to field offices. Estimates are not guaranteed.
